Ghawar restaurant

A little neighborhood gem, offering affordable, authentic Middle Eastern and Arabic food fare. Great flavors. Perfectly made falafel is crispy but not oily and filled with an adequate quantity of green herbs, soft on the inside while crunchy on the outside. Very smooth hummus. The fava beans / (foule mudammas) are properly made with slow cooking for a long time, in proper cooking vessels, not served from a can, as is common in many restaurants. No shortcuts here. Prompt friendly service. Affordable prices, a great breakfast, a quick lunch, or a take-out place. Casual dining seating, with nostalgic ambience, simple tasteful decoration.

We were visiting the area and wanted some good food. This place did not disappoint. Literally best chicken tawook i have had in a while! The rice, the lamb the fatoush! Every thing was so so good. Loved the place and they were also very friendly. The owner visited our table and gave our son a “tarboosh” so he can play with it while we eat. Such a great restaurant we will visit again!

Guys I will never forget the taste best breakfast since I can’t count how many years, I do not regret the 1k drive to IL from TX, I feel I’m back home with the hummus, falafel and مفركة scrambled eggs+potato. WoW ما شاءالله , and I promise I will be here again soon but next time with family to try more dishes which I’m sure all will be extremely delicious, My fellows truck drivers don’t miss the chance of trying this place and you will never regret @Ghawar Restaurant I love you guys

My family and I had late breakfast at Ghawar on a Sunday morning. Apparently this place is popular among the Arab residents - the place was crowded at 11 am and there was almost no empty table left. We ordered half a dozen different items. Most of them were good and falafel and halloumi cheese were especially good. Foul was very bland, no spices, no salt, no lemon but they also didn’t bring anything to mix with so we were a bit confused. I thought there was more tahini in hummus or fatteh compared to other Arabic restaurants I’ve been to. The staff were pretty efficient, the wall decorations cute and there were enough parking space outside the restaurant.

As first-timers, we did not know what to expect. What a marvelous surprise of a meal for our wedding anniversary! The food tastes like several grandmothers cooked especially for hours for us. We both thought the lamb dinner was delicious. And all the sides were very tasty. Homemade stuffed grape leaves with a little bit of mint were much better than we've eaten anywhere else. We thought the fattoush salad was refreshing with a pomegranate dressing. We will definitely come back!

I recently visited this restaurant with my best friend for breakfast, and it turned out to be such a memorable experience. Since it was our first time there, we weren’t quite sure what to order, but our waiter was incredibly kind and welcoming. Once we explained that we wanted to try a variety of dishes to share, she thoughtfully recommended several options that gave us a great taste of what the menu had to offer. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy, home-like feel that made us instantly comfortable. One of the highlights was the complimentary tea they served it was such a lovely touch, and we both absolutely enjoyed it. Overall, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. My friend is already excited to bring her family here, and I’m definitely looking forward to coming back with more friends. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a welcoming spot with great service and a relaxing vibe. Ate here for the first time today. Food was *excellent*. Authentic and delicious. Our waitress was great with answering our questions. Super friendly, attentive and awesome. We had the kibbeh and fried cheese for apps and BBQ mixed grill, which came with baba ghanoush, freshly made hummus and tasty pickled plate. Pitas were fluffy and so good. Will definitely be back.

Really enjoyed. Got in before the evening crowd and saw a couple families and a few smaller groups. They had pickup for people too. Ordered the lamb. It came with pickles, olives, pita, and two kinds if yogurt. The main course was 4 pieces of lamb as tender as can be, rice base, with cooked almond shards. So good and well seasoned. The service was great. The table for seating is in the middle of the room. Not by the door. They have a red cap like the owners if you want a fun authentic photo.
